Cybersecurity Content Suite

This two-piece content set was developed for financial advisors and plan sponsors navigating an increasingly complex cybersecurity landscape. The checklist gives audiences a practical tool for evaluating their recordkeeper’s security capabilities, while the companion overview positions the company as a trusted, security-first partner. Together, these pieces turned dense technical subject matter into clear, actionable, confidence-building content that supported client trust, retention, and new business conversations.

I wrote this feature article for IBM Database Magazine (Vol. 14, No. 1, 2009), a nationally distributed publication for enterprise technology professionals. The piece explores the growing risks of data privacy in non-production environments. It makes the case for data masking as a compliance strategy, covering regulatory frameworks, real-world breach scenarios, and practical protection approaches. This was my first published byline and an early example of my ability to translate complex, technical subject matter into clear, engaging content for a specialized business audience.

I wrote this product brochure introducing a proprietary cooling-water treatment technology for industrial customers facing tightening environmental regulations. Gamification Email Campaign

This data-driven email campaign, targeting retirement plan participants, was built around an interactive football-themed quiz timed to National 401(k) Day. This was the first gamification email of its kind for the organization, requiring cross-functional collaboration to develop the concept, build the experience, and target the right audience segments.

  • Drove measurable participant actions: 2,052 people added a savings rate, 6,190 logged into the employee website, 3,189 downloaded the READYSAVE app, 3,580 added a beneficiary online, and 16,542 reviewed their investment allocation

I wrote the script for a customer case study video* showing how a Wisconsin cogeneration power plant avoided a $1.8M capital expenditure by adopting an innovative non-phosphorus cooling water treatment to meet local regulatory restrictions. I translated highly technical subject matter into a clear, compelling client success story that walks viewers through the challenge, solution, and measurable results.

I wrote the script for a corporate brand video showcasing a Texas-based manufacturing facility's commitment to sustainability, innovation, and teamwork. The video highlights cutting-edge environmental technology and the people behind it, balancing technical credibility with an approachable, human tone designed to build trust with prospective customers and partners.

Educational Video

I scripted and storyboarded this educational video for retirement plan participants, making the often-overlooked topic of beneficiary designations clear, approachable, and actionable. The video covers the different types of beneficiaries, tips for reviewing designations, and when to seek professional guidance. Developed as an external resource supporting participant education across the company's retirement planning platform, the video has generated 800+ views since launch and growing.

I wrote the copy for this digital banner ad promoting water and process treatment solutions to the hydrocarbon processing industry. The ad ran on an industry trade publication's website and needed to communicate a broad value proposition in a single, scannable line, while driving clicks to a landing page. Writing for the banner format meant distilling a complex portfolio of chemical, equipment, and monitoring services into a message that could be read and understood in seconds.

The ad positions the company's water technologies and solutions portfolio as the answer to the industry's toughest water, wastewater, and process challenges. I worked within brand guidelines to pair a bold, confident headline with concise supporting copy that reinforces credibility and drives readers to a landing page.

PTQ (Petroleum Technology Quarterly) Magazine

I wrote the copy for this full-page print ad that ran in PTQ Magazine ahead of the AFPM 2019 Operations & Process Technology Summit. The ad promotes SafeZone overhead corrosion control technology and needed to accomplish two things at once: introduce a specific product solution to refinery professionals and drive booth traffic at the upcoming trade show. I developed the "break the tug-of-war between profitability and reliability" concept to frame a complex technical challenge in language that resonates with operations decision-makers who live with that tension daily.
